How long does the battery last, and how do I charge it?
The built-in 4000mAh battery runs up to 60 days on a single charge in sensor mode. Recharge via the included USB-C cable in about 5–6 hours. You can also keep it plugged in for continuous 24-hour circulation.
What are the three water modes, and when should I use each?
Motion mode dispenses water when your pet comes within about 2.6 ft (31 in) of the fountain — the most battery-efficient option. Timed mode releases water every 30 minutes. Continuous mode (while plugged in) circulates water 24/7, ideal for multi-pet homes or hot weather.
How often should I change the filter?
Replace the activated-carbon filter every 3–4 weeks for the cleanest water. Rinse a new filter under running water for 1–2 minutes before first use. Compatible replacement filters: PT002 (6-pack).
Is it really quiet? My pet is sensitive to noise.
Yes — the pump runs at under 25 dB, quieter than a whisper, so nervous cats and dogs aren't startled while drinking.
Can cats use it too, or is it only for dogs?
While it's sized and marketed for dogs (including large breeds), the 10L stainless steel basin works well for cats and multi-pet households too. For a single cat, the smaller 5L stainless model (PT004) may be a better fit.
